Keeping my coat in peak condition takes more than a little lick and polish on my part. Self-care is over-rated - why support an entourage if you’re doing it yourself? Ms Entourage put her back into a very satisfying ‘grooming’ session with me this morning - I like to have my fur raked through thoroughly before a bath, which I plan to relax in on Wednesday or Thursday.
My palanquin’s heat pad is a rather gorgeous shade of carmine, and I’m hoping to take full advantage of the therapeutic warmth while en route to Rome, where I’m scheduled to arrive late on Saturday.
Set Ms Entourage the task of bed- and food-shopping for me to keep her busy before I arrive; if I don’t keep an eye on her she tends to lack focus. Mr E. too, to be honest. I suspect I will have to take time out from my busy Roman Woofing schedule and derive-ist plans to make sure they both look after me in the manner to which I intend soon to become accustomed.
Rather sweetly, I overheard Ms E discussing a restaurant she’s found, where (I presume), she intends to take me to sample saltimbocca; how lucky that I sent her on a pre-tour fact-finding mission back in May. I’m expecting great culinary delights, based on her dreamy comments about ingredients and flavours...
